DMG MORI Partnership Leads to Launch of "Smart Factory of the Future"

DMG MORI is partnering with with IN4.OS US LLC, an organization focused on developing advanced manufacturing enterprises for strategic sectors, in order to construct what the company is calling “Smart Factories of the Future.” The partnership has so far launched Ipsum Technologies LLC, the first of such smart factories.
Smart Factory of the Future, a concept of IN4.OS US, is described as a cyber-physical, location-agnostic factory that has the ability to deliver flexible and scalable manufacturing capabilities. Ipsum Technologies LLC will be located in Pickens County, South Carolina, and will operate DMG MORI manufacturing equipment. Ipsum will focus on manufacturing for the aerospace and defense industries.
DMG MORI’s advanced technologies will aid in Ipsum’s manufacturing process. Ipsum Technologies LLC purchased nine machines from the manufacturer, including five-axis machines like the DMU 65FD DuoBlock, DMU 65 MonoBlock, DMU 75 MonoBlock and a DMC 80FD DuoBlock.
