Vollmer's FS 2A grinds the flanks of carbide-tipped circular saw blades with diameters ranging to 810 mm.

The tooth flanks of the saw blades are machined on both sides at the same time by using two grinding wheels. Teeth are completely finish-ground in a single saw blade pass. The feed path can be adjusted using two dial gages.
