Leaders-In background

Exair’s Chip Trapper for cleaning large coolant sumps removes solids such as chips, swarf and shavings from used liquids. The machine vacuums the coolant or other liquids into a 30-, 55- or 110-gallon drum, trapping all the solids in a reusable filter bag. When the flow valve is turned, clean liquid pumps back out. Powered by compressed air, the system features built-in pressure and vacuum relief as well as an automatic safety shut-off valve, and has no motors or impellers. It is equipped with a stainless steel two-way pump assembly, a lever lock drum lid, a 10-ft. vacuum hose, a 20-ft. compressed air hose, a chip wand and a drum dolly. The system is intended for use on machines with sumps, parts washers, tanks and storage containers.
