Leaders-In background
BLM Group’s LT fiber laser is an automated laser tube cutting machine that uses a fiber laser resonator to improve energy efficiency. The system’s 2-kW IPG fiber laser source enables it to efficiently process highly reflective materials such as brass, copper and aluminum, the company says. It is also capable of cutting galvanized steel and thin-walled tubes.

The system accommodates tube ranging to 6" (152 mm) in diameter with maximum raw tube lengths measuring 256" to 335" (6,500 to 8,500 mm), depending on the configuration chosen.

Also on display is the Elect XL all-electric, 12-axis tube-bending machine. This machine is capable of bending large-diameter tube ranging to 150 mm or 6". The tube-bending machine is said to increase flexibility, productivity and accuracy in automotive, machinery, motorcycle, hydraulic, railway and shipyard applications.

The multi-stack bender is capable of holding as many as eight tool sets. This permits rapid processing of complex parts and reduces change-over time. It is equipped with VGP3D, a 3D graphical programming software program.

BLM Group also offers information on its LT Jumbo series automatic laser tube cutting system; the EM80 integrated CNC end machining center; and its automatic tube saw lineup.
