Emuge-Franken Top-Cut roughing and finishing end mill is designed for high performance and increased tool life. The carbide end mill is capable of performing both roughing and finishing operations, decreasing vibration and reducing the number of tools and changes needed. Variable helix angles are said to eliminate harmonic oscillation to minimize vibrations and improve surface qualities. The carbide substrate combined with a high-heat resistant TiALN coating and optimized micro-geometry promotes long tool life even in diverse materials. The end mills are available in a variety of inch and metric sizes, lengths and types.
