AIMS Metrology will showcase its LM- and HB-series coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) engineered to tackle challenges associated with digitized shop floors; complex parts with higher-accuracy and reliability standards; big data; and automation.
The laboratory-grade Revolution LM can be equipped for touch or non-contact inspection. It features Renishaw’s Revo 2 scanning probe. The precision measuring head and probe system collect data at 4,000 points per sec. Infinite positioning and five-axis motion enables users to access complex features, while flexible tip sensing enhances accuracy.
For five-axis touch trigger applications, the LM is also available with Renishaw’s PH20, a head designed for fast calibration and infinite positioning. Linear motors provide submicron accuracy while eliminating the maintenance and downtime associated with belt and pulley designs. Modus software supports offline programming, true five-axis measurement programs, full simulation, crash detection and the capability to leverage large amounts of product information.
