The Micro Snap series of carbide deburring tools is suited for all-purpose, single-pass, front and back deburring and chamfering of through holes measuring between 0.079" and 0.197" (2 and 5 mm). Standard carbide-coated cutting blade geometries are available for aluminum, low-carbon steels, stainless and nickel-based materials.
 
The DF geometry enables consistent chamfers in inconel, titanium and other super alloys. Different chamfer sizes can be achieved by selecting a different blade size with no need for adjustments or operator intervention, the company says. The Snap cutting blade does not leave any witness marks inside the finish bore, and it is designed to produce consistent, repeatable front and back chamfers.
 
Despite the small size, the series is said to offer an easy blade change solution. Each cutting blade features extra material that is snapped off once the blade is locked into place.
