Universal Robots’ UR5 and UR10 robotic arms are designed to be lightweight and flexible. They can work alongside personnel, and they generally require no safety shielding, the company says. The UR5 robotic arm measures electrical current in its joints to determine force and movement, rather than sensor technology. Both the UR5 and UR10 arms can be moved around a production area with ease and offer a plug-and-play solution with a simple user interface for setup and operation, the company says.
