MachineMetrics is an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform designed specifically for discrete manufacturing. By combining IIoT data analytics with the value creation of a packaged, cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS), MachineMetrics automates the collection and transformation of real-time machine data that is augmented with data from people, devices and systems to provide diagnostic and predictive analytics.
Packaged SaaS services are said to generate immediate ROI for discrete manufacturers. These services include real-time dashboards, recommendation engines that suggest ways to improve performance, warning notifications and predictive maintenance analytics to reduce outages. The platform also enables users to add their own IP both at the edge and cloud layers through “microservices,” analytics technology, and integrations with other systems.
