Mitsubishi EDM/Laser’s MCV 1000 machining center is a general-purpose machine for applications such as fixtures, mold base and secondary operations. The machining center features an 8,000-rpm spindle and CAT 40 tooling with a maximum tool weight of 15.4 lbs. Its table measures 39.4" × 19.7" with a maximum capacity of 1,100 lbs. X, Y and Z-axis travels measure 40.2" × 20.1" × 21.3". Cutting feed rates range from 0.04 to 394 ipm. The line also can be equipped with a ZF gearbox for increased torque.
The company will also demonstrate its MV2400-S advance-wire EDM, EA8A advance-sinker EDM and fifth-generation MWX4 612 waterjet machine.
