Mitutoyo America Corporation’s Crysta-Apex V Series coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is designed to bring additional speed, accuracy, precision and versatility to the company’s current CMM line-up. It also marks the launch of Mitutoyo’s Gold Care Plus Productivity Program.
The Crysta-Apex V features a high-speed, high-acceleration drive and the ability to set measuring paths for high-speed, 3D and active scanning of complex workpieces. Additionally, its temperature compensation system has independent sensors that work in tandem to measure scale, workpiece and ambient temperature, improving compensation over systems that only measure scale temperature.
Other features include MeasurLink, which reduces defective parts by visualizing quality though complete data management, and two remote-measuring instrument monitors for tracking operational status and current condition. The measuring system enables online monitoring of measuring status and visualization of data.
The Crysta-Apex V can adapt to work on a range of small- to medium-sized work pieces, with multi-sensor capabilities and compatible vision and scanning probe technologies.
Gold Care Plus is an updated version of the the company’s legacy productivity program, Gold Care. Gold Care Plus continues many of the Gold Care features while adding MeasurLink V9, Status Monitor with integrated MT Connect, Quick Launcher, Fixture Builder, a 12A power conditioner and an air dryer.
