Hyundai Wia’s KF5600 vertical machining center, designed through years of expert engineering and using state-of-the-art control technology, maximizes production rates while maintaining rigidity and accuracy. Standard on this machine is the 8,000/12,000-rpm high-speed direct-coupled spindle, which is directly driven by the motor to simplify the drive system structure and maintenance procedures as well as to reduce noise, vibration and heat generation compared to a belt-driven machine.
A quick tool-change time of 3.2 seconds (the shortest in its class) reduces idle time and improves productivity, making the KF5600 the ideal machine for all your high-volume, high-precision machining applications.
Key features include:
-
Dual-contact spindle (BBT40) – Increased tool rigidity
-
All-in-One mold package – Standard KF5600 feature
-
Linear roller guideways – Reduced non-cutting time and increased rigidity
-
3.2-second tool-change time
-
Rapid traverse rate (X/Y/Z): 40/40/36 m/min. (1,575/1,575/1,417 ipm)
All-in-One Precision Mold Package
To enhance mold machining, the Hyundai Wia All-in-One Mold Package (20K spindle) is provided as a standard feature on this machine. With cutting air blow, auto power-off, heat distortion compensation and an automatic tool measuring device, the KF5600 ensures accurate and consistent surface finishing and contouring.
