The pump/filter unit PFA-1002 filters sludge and chips from water-based machine tool coolant or from cutting oil in sumps without the need to pump out the sumps. With a recirculation rate of 20 gallons per minute, the unit completely cleans settled sludge and suspended solids from a typical sump (from 15 gallons to about 250 gallons) in minutes, and then can be moved to another sump and set up to run simply by connecting a 1/4" compressed air line.
Each unit is supplied complete with an air-operated diaphragm pump, a high capacity bag filter, and all required inlet and outlet hoses, mounted on a 30" × 20" cart. The filter/regulator for compressed air is provided. Five 25-micron filter bags are provided as standard. Other filter bags from 5 microns to 100 microns are available.
