The Praktikant VC plus precision lathe for vocational training is equipped with the company’s e-Tim system for monitoring and regulating energy consumption. With this system, the drive management permanently feeds brake energy back into the power supply system. Auxiliary equipment not in use is automatically powered down, and, if the machine is not in operation, the system will shift it into stand-by mode after a pre-defined period of time.
The lathe also features an optional learner- identification system, e-Lissy, which enables individual access authorization for each student operator to be established and adjusted based on the level of knowledge during training.
The company also will be exhibiting other universal precision lathe models at the show, in addition to its VOM 50 radial drilling machine, which has a steel drilling capacity ranging to 50 mm.
