The Quick-Jaw-Change (QJC) power chuck from Samchully Workholding is suitable for both large and small-batch production in job shops with frequent part change-overs. According to the company, it is possible to change the chuck jaws in as little as 1 min. while retaining high accuracy. The chuck’s centrifugal force compensation enables use with delicate parts, while its high gripping force provides high metal removal rates for solids.
The company’s range of QJC chucks includes 6", 8", 10", 12", 15" and 20" sizes. Standard soft and hard jaws as well as soft and hard monoblock jaws are available. The jaws also fit other QUJC chucks including KNCS, Rota and Ultimate.
