SprutCAM America, the official North American reseller of the multi-axis CAM software of the same name, has released SprutCAM 12, featuring a more user-friendly interface and a 2D CAD editor integrated into the model page. Other features include:
- Product and Manufacturing Information (PMI) import
- Adaptive SC high-speed machining
- Painting simulation
- Five-axis toolpath conversion
The company’s SprutCAM 12 Robot version, a single environment for the offline programming of industrial robots, supportsw milling with a robotic arm. Other features are available through an optional module that includes robotic cladding, plasma cutting, waterjet cutting, welding and sawing. SprutCAM Robot supports programming for various industrial robots, including FANUC, Kuka, Staubli, Yaskawa Motoman, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Nachi, ABB and others.
