3D Systems’ Geomagic Capture family of integrated desktop scanner and software tools is designed for professional scan-based design and quality inspection. According to the company, the scanning system can reduce design time, increase productivity and deliver faster product-development cycles. The system is said to be easy and intuitive to use with direct CAD plugins, and to enable users to instantly incorporate real world objects into CAD at a desktop.
Available in six configurations, each package includes a compact blue light LED scanner directly integrated with Geomagic software including Geomagic Capture for SolidWorks, SpaceClaim, Design X, Design Direct, Control and Verify. The packages are designed for a range of applications, including precision desktop scanning and integrated high-quality inspection software, with pushbutton workflow and automated reporting.
