The Kalamazoo Industries model 1SM abrasive belt sander is ideal for use on the tool cart in MRO applications. Instead of having to walk back to the tool crib to finish a spacer, shim or other small replacement part, all the work can be done on site. The unit has a 1" × 42" abrasive belt and comes standard with a 1/3-hp motor providing 1,800 sfpm. It also has a 4" drive wheel and a removable platen and work table.
All parts that Kalamazoo Industries manufactures for this sander are kept in stock for quick replacement, no matter the age of the unit. The belt is readily available from any number of sources.
