Heule Tool’s COFA-X tooling system is designed to remove burrs from uneven interior bore edges with large intersections, such as valves, fittings and hydraulic manifolds. Other applications include cross holes with identical or nearly identical diameters, bores that merge into one another and crossing bores with offset centers.
According to the company, the tooling system eliminates secondary burrs. It reduces costs and improves cycles times for deburring operations usually completed manually. The system is pre-assembled with spring-loaded blade geometry to enable either front or back cutting. It is customized for application-specific projects. It is suitable for bore diameters of 4.0 mm and larger.
