Video from Chiron America demonstrates the company’s Multi-Profile System, which combines a machining center with in-feed and out-feed accessories so that the compact machine can mill and drill long parts. The system is particularly useful for long aluminum extrusions. The part shown here is a rail for an aircraft’s overhead bins. The part has already been machined—the cycle is retraced here so the machine motions to be seen clearly.
