An example demonstrating this versatility is the very large 2500 Ton Compression Molding Press. Greenerd designed and engineered this 2500 ton press. Currently building it in their main facility, the press is part of a seven-

press order involving precisely controlled heated platens measuring 108 inches square. The company says the press features a distinct mold transfer system, improving the ergonomic and safety dynamics for operators and reducing the press idle time between cycles.
