Dr. Jeffrey A. Graves has been appointed president and CEO of 3D Systems. Bringing 17 years of CEO experience, he replaces Vyomesh Joshi, who announced his retirement in February.

Digital manufacturing will play a key role in the transformation of manufacturing, and 3D Systems is uniquely positioned with its portfolio of additive manufacturing systems, material science, software and domain expertise to help companies benefit from this transformation,” Mr. Graves says.

Mr. Graves previously worked as CEO of MTS Systems, a global supplier of high-performance test, simulation and measurement systems. Prior to MTS, he was CEO of C&D Technologies and Kemet Electronics before that. He is currently on the board of directors of Hexcel, a composite materials manufacturer, and Faro, a 3D measurement technology manufacturer.
