EMO to be Staged in Hannover Through 2025
The European metalworking trade show will take place in Germany after the 2015 edition.

Through 2025, Hannover, Germany, will host the EMO Hannover metalworking trade fair. Representatives of the German Machine Tool Builders' Association (VDW), organizer of the show, and Deustsche Messe, operator of the Hannover venue, signed an agreement stipulating that the event will be hosted at the Hannover Exhibition Center in September 2017, 2019, 2023 and 2025. With the show attracting 41 percent foreign attendees and 60 percent foreign exhibitors, the exhibition center is well-suited to accommodate these visitors and enhance international appeal, the groups say.
EMO 2015 will take place in Milan, Italy, as previously planned.
