Emuge, Open Mind to Offer Free Seminar on Five-Axis Machining

Emuge Corp. and Open Mind Technologies USA Inc. are teaming up to hold a complimentary technical seminar on advanced strategies for five-axis milling October 4, 2017, at Emuge’s North American corporate headquarters and tech center in West Boylston, Massachusetts. Experts from the two companies will present strategies on how to reduce cycle times and improve part quality by leveraging the latest CAM software and end mills to maximize five-axis machining. During morning discussions and live machining demonstrations in the afternoon on a Hurco machining center, attendees will learn about productivity gains from coupling Emuge’s trochoidal and circle-segment end mills with Open Mind’s HyperMill Maxx Machining CAM package. A Q&A session and tour of Emuge's new tool reconditioning operation will conclude the event.
