EuroBlech 2016 Concludes Successful Show in Hanover, Germany
The sheet metal processing exhibition had an increase in visitors from Asia.

The 24th edition of EuroBlech, the International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition, ended October 29, 2016, after five successful show days. The show reports that a total of 60,636 visitors from some 100 countries came to Hanover, Germany, for an overview of technical developments in sheet metal processing and to invest in new production equipment. A total of 1,503 companies from 41 countries exhibited at the show.
The show received 39 percent of its visitors from countries outside of Germany, with a notable increase in visitors from Asia.
Nicola Hamann, managing director for Mack Brooks Exhibitions, show organizer, says that the sheet metal industry’s trend toward digital and smart manufacturing was a big emphasis at Euroblech 2016. “The atmosphere at this year’s show was filled with an overall fascination about the recent technological advancements and the large number of positive international business contacts,” she says.
