Hexagon AB, a developer in digital reality solutions combining sensor, software and autonomous technologies, announced the acquisition of LLC. TST is the USA and Canada master distributor of VISI, Hexagon’s dedicated CAD/CAM software for the mold and die sector, and the PEPS CAM programming software for laser and wire EDM machines.
In addition to PEPS and VISI, TST also develops its own range of applications that work within the VISI interface and offers support, training and consultancy to its customer base across North America. Headquartered in Clarkson, Michigan, TST employs a team of 18 who are continuing to support Hexagon’s production software portfolio in North America as part of the direct organization.
“TST has an excellent reputation in the mold, die and machining market. VISI and PEPS customers in North America are extremely appreciative of the training and support provided by their team,” says Paul Rogers, president of North, Central and South America of Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division. “I’m excited to bring their skills, expertise and market experience into Hexagon and I’m certain that they will positively impact the experience and value we offer to customers.”
TST Tooling Software Technologies is consolidated within Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division. The acquisition has no significant impact on the results of Hexagon, the company says.
