LK Metrology has undertaken a targeted CMM Assistance Program for supporting medical equipment manufacturers during the coronavirus pandemic.
Brian Samson, North America managing director for LK Metrology, announced the project. “We understand that medical equipment manufactures today are critical in helping to provide valuable components, products and systems to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The majority are still in production and typically require the use of coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) to measure, reverse engineer and assure the quality of many complex and precision parts. For that reason, we are reaching out to them with a series of services that we feel can be of assistance during these anxious times.”
He continues: “At our location here in Michigan, we are complying with the required stay-at-home order, but we have put in place a workplan to support our customers and field service operations with targeted emphasis on medical equipment manufacturers.”
The LK Special Assistance Program includes promotions and special terms on the following:
- Expedited sales and service for TP20/TP200, SP25M and Nikon L/LC/XC laser scanners as well as PH20 and REVO probes.
- Consignment offline seats of Camio software
- Programming assistance
- Service assistance
- Use of the ISO 17025-certified LK Measuring Services Department for a range of services including contract measuring of small to medium quantities of production parts
- LK Metrology CMMs or remanufactured machines
