Mecco Acquires Faro Photonics
Mecco has had an established relationship with Faro Photonics, using the company’s products in its own laser marking and processing solutions.

Mecco, a manufacturer of laser and dot peen marking products, has acquired Faro Photonics. Faro designs and manufactures precision laser scan heads, Ethernet-based vector controllers and processing software for laser applications.
Mecco has had an established relationship with Faro Photonics, using the company’s products in its own laser marking and processing solutions.
“By combining Faro Photonics’ scanner and software control technologies with Mecco’s application expertise, we are able to create new opportunities for innovation,” says Dave Sweet, president of MECCO. “Our focus will be to continue to deliver innovative laser solutions to open up new applications and meet our customers’ specific requirements.”
