Renishaw (Hoffman Estates, Illinois) has acquired Advanced Consulting & Engineering (ACE), a Rochester Hills, Michigan-based supplier of dimensional products and services for the automotive industry. The family-owned company provides in-house and on-site measurement services including contract inspection, CMM fixture design, machine retrofits and training. Since 2011, ACE has been a distributor of Renishaw’s CMM and gaging products. As a part of the Renishaw Group, ACE will provide specialized programming capabilities and will help support sales of Renishaw CMM probing systems and Equator gages in the United States.
