3D visualization technology provider Lightworks (Sheffield, United Kingdom) has partnered with Siemens PLM Software (Plano, Texas) to bring rendering technology to the latter company’s customers. The partnership will integrate Lightworks’ rendering toolkits into Siemens PLM NX software. According to a Siemens PLM representative, the rendering capability will help customers better understand product aesthetics earlier in the design process with realistic interactive displays using Lightworks’ real-time ray tracing rending technology.
