Sodick Begins Construction of New U.S. Headquarters

Machine tool manufacturer Sodick Inc. and its partners, the City of Schaumburg, Northern Builders and Harris Architects, have announced the beginning of construction on Sodick’s new U.S. corporate headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois. The new 40,000-square-foot facility is to be constructed on a 5-acre lot and is scheduled be completed July 2017.
The new corporate headquarters will nearly double Sodick’s facility space and will include an additional loading dock to better accommodate increased sales volume. Additionally, the facility will have an expanded EDM showroom, engineering bay and a dedicated additive manufacturing technology center to house Sodick’s OPM line of metal 3D printers.
