IMSI/Design, developer of TurboCAD CAD software, has announced that it will begin distributing MecSoft’s VisualMill CAM software. The company says the 3D CAM software will round out its line and complement its 2.5D CAM plug-in for TurboCAD.
Along with 2 1/2 –axis and hole-making features, VisualMill includes three-axis milling strategies including horizontal roughing, parallel and horizontal finishing and radial and spiral machining. Other features include integrated toolpath simulation and a comprehensive post processor, the company says.
