According to the company, the inserts increase wear resistance and have an expected life as much as 100 times longer than carbide-coated inserts. The PCD-tipped inserts are precision ground to provide a sharp, accurate cutting radius. Available with 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4" diameters, the inserts are designed for use with the company’s standard steel, carbide-core and carbide-shank cutter bodies.
