Horn offers a range of carbide blanks for precision tools in both ground and raw-sintered versions. The range encompasses rods in various shapes and has been extended to include customized components as well. According to Horn, its full in-house carbide manufacturing infrastructure enables short delivery times and high quality. The range includes sintered or h6-ground carbide rods in fixed or custom lengths; raw-sintered or h6-ground carbide rods with cooling channels in straight or twisted variations; flat rods; square rods; and ground cermet rods. Carbide blanks can also be produced in any shape based on customer drawings, the company says.
