Fagor Automation will display its 8060/8065 CNC platform designed for accurate, high-speed machining with good surface finish in aerospace-industry applications. The 8065 CNC can control as many as 28 axes and four separate spindles with four different execution channels, and also includes auto-tuning system setup capability. In addition, the CNC provides block processing speeds of less than 0.5 msec. while analyzing the tool path with high-speed block look-ahead using nanometric resolution. This capacity, combined with the Fagor Adaptive Real-time Feed & Speed control (ARFS), enables the CNC to analyze machining conditions such as spindle load, servo power and tool tip temperature, and to adapt both the axis feed rate and the spindle speed for maximum machining performance. The results are reduced cycle times and improved part finish. Additional benefits include extended spindle and servomotor life as well as improved tool utilization. Equipped with the High Speed Surface Accuracy (HSSA) machining system, the CNC platform delivers reduced mechanical stress on the machine, thus increasing machine tool lifespan.
Each 8060/8065 CNC is available with a 10" or 15" high-resolution LCD TFT color monitor or touchscreen, Ethernet, USB and built-in touch-sensitive mouse pad.
