Quick-Grip CNC collet chucks from Royal Products are said to boost productivity by reducing collet change-over time to 10 sec. These chucks feature collets that have a gripping range of 1/16", enabling them to accommodate large variations in workpiece diameters.
A parallel grip keeps the full length of each collet segment in constant contact with the workpiece, producing maximum holding force. Their short lengths maximize a lathe’s Z-axis capacity and contribute to accuracies of 0.0002" TIR.
Available in both Pullback and Accu-Length styles, these chucks are designed to be easy to install. They incorporate Royal Products’ Bolt & Go Mounting Advantage, which ensures a consistent, near-perfect fit without the need for any adjustment, the company says.
