Available from the company is the Skimerator coolant aeration and oil removal system. It skims contaminating "tramp" oils from the coolant surface, which is said to prolong tool life and reduce downtime. Two-stage aeration, according to the company, reduces bacteria growth and rancidity to reduce odors. The company says the system extends coolant life to cut coolant
disposal and replacement costs by 50 percent while reducing environmental impact.
The system is said to offer quick, easy removal of collected "tramp" oil from the reservoir; a removable skimmer box screen that traps debris to extend pump life; a translucent polyethylene reservoir that limits growth of bacteria; and systems and options available to adapt to
any coolant system.
