Northfield Precision Instrument produces custom, submersible chucks for use in wire EDM environments. The chucks have non-stainless steel wetted components and are coated with a thin, dense layer of hard chrome for protection against corrosion. The company guarantees accuracies of 0.001" to 0.00001" (0.0254 to 0.000254 mm).
Through-hole, high-speed and quick-change air chucks are also available for lathes, boring machines, grinders and VMCs in sizes from 3" to 18" (76 to 457 mm).
