Forcam’s Forcam Force, a data-collecting platform, offers analytics tools and flexibility, according to the company. The platform is built on an open API structure, and the Forcam Force Bridge connects shop floor analytics with any third-party ERP, MES, TDM, QMS, CMMS or PLM system. The platform enables users to monitor work practices, and machine operators can receive real-time feedback to enable them to act on data.
According to the company, the platform operates as a referee of sorts, tying a shop’s data network into an easily understood framework. It can deliver purchasing and operations data to accounting, supply chain information to logistics and provide the C-suite with real-time production data. At the same time, it can deliver temperature, vibration and speed data to members of a shop’s operational team. The predictive analytics provided by the platform enable users to take whatever steps the data call for.
