Precision Cutting Tools’ solid carbide Hi-Depth long drills are designed to increase productivity while simultaneously reducing cycle time during deep-hole applications. Available in sizes ranging from 40×D to 50×D, the drills offer self-centering capabilities and internal coolant holes for peck-free machining. According to the company, the combination of the coolant-hole geometry and parabolic flutes enables higher speeds and feeds as well as efficient chip evacuation. The drills are available in the SXC series for stainless steels and the AXC series for aluminum applications.
