The DA110 Perform drill from Walter USA can be used universally and cost-effectively for a range of materials, the company says. It delivers higher accuracy with precision-ground surfaces and a tip geometry engineered for centering accuracy while keeping production costs down.
This HSS drill, with dimensions according to DIN 338 (jobber length), has a 118-degree point angle for more secure centering. It is available in grade WZ90AJ, which includes a TiN coating on the point, making it suitable for use machining ISO material groups P, M, K, N, S and O. The drill is available in diameters ranging from 1 to 16 mm, with increments every 0.1 mm.
Said to be ideal for small and medium-size batch production, the Perform line is designed to provide milling, threading and holemaking tools at a lower initial cost.
