Seco Tools’ Jabro Mini solid carbide end mill line includes the JM100 series, which is designed to machine hardened tool steels to 65 HRc, and the 400 series, which is designed for machining aluminum and copper. The series also includes a full range of solid carbide cutters, which are suitable for the mold and die, medical, aerospace and general engineering markets.
Manufactured from micro-grain carbides, the application-specific end mill geometries are coated for heat and wear resistance. This allows greater productivity by increasing machining parameters and tool life while reducing tool changes and setup time, the company says.
The end mills are available in diameters ranging from 0.1 mm to 2.0 mm with ball- and bull-nose end configurations. Additionally, the company offers various toolholding options such as the EasyShrink thermal induction system, which provides high levels of concentricity and low total runout.
