Knuth offers full five-axis waterjets in flying bridge and traditional gantry designs. Available table sizes range from 2 × 5 ft. to 10 × 16 ft. Equipped with the company’s five-axis cutting head, the waterjets are capable of chamfering to 50 degrees with endless rotation, avoiding the need for repeat pierce cuts.
The waterjets feature the Knuth 450 cut control with a waterproof touchscreen display and user-friendly conversational interface. Their complete abrasive systems feature a pressurized hopper capable of holding 2,000 lbs of garnet. The amount of abrasives used can be regulated through the CNC, increasing cutting efficiency while decreasing costs.
