offers the Spider handheld 3D scanner for real-time scanning and fusion. Developed for scanning objects with many small details, the Spider is suitable for applications such as scanning molds, PCBs, coins and engravings. It is designed for industries including automotive, aerospace and medicine, among others.
The scanner is said to provide increased accuracy and resolution for digitizing complex industrial parts. Objects can be scanned and quickly imported into a CAD system. The scanner provides resolution ranging to 0.15 mm and accuracy ranging from 0.03 to 0.05 mm. No markers or manual alignment are required during postprocessing. Sharp edges, intricate details and texture can be scanned.
