Lazzati’s Linea T-type HB 150T heavy horizontal CNC boring mill can be configured as a fully automated machining center thanks to its rotary table, boring spindle and automatic universal head. The machine offers high dynamics, rapid traverse rates ranging to 42.5 ipm, acceleration of 1 m/sec. and high working feeds. Other features contributing to the boring mill’s adaptability are the company’s LHS hydrostatic system and constant thermostabilization of machine structures.
A 150-mm-diameter boring spindle delivers 4,000 rpm and power equal to 70 kW. The boring machine is available with longitudinal spindle travel measuring 900 mm, rotary table cross travel ranging to 6,000 mm, vertical head travel ranging to 2,600 mm and column longitudinal travel ranging to 3,000 mm. The 2,000 × 2,500-mm rotary travelling table is available with a maximum load capacity ranging to 30 tons.
