SMTCL’s EHC 125300 horizontal turning center enables the production of large workpieces. Designed for high precision, the turning center has a swing over the bed of 1,250 mm (49") and can machine parts as long as 3 m (118"). It comes standard with a 1,000-mm chuck, eight-position turret, steady rest, hydraulic tailstock and chip conveyor.
The turning center uses a FANUC motor and 0i-TF control, THK ballscrews, NSK spindle bearings, a Stober gearbox, and a Sauter turret. The company offers installation and training services to customers anywhere in North America.
The company is also releasing the EHC 125500, which can machine workpieces as long as 5 m (196") and weighing as much as 11,000 lbs.
