Schunk’s Tendo E compact hydraulic expansion toolholder is designed to eliminate the need to use different holder technologies for milling, drilling and reaming. The toolholder can transfer torques ranging to 520 Nm (384 foot-pounds) at a 20 mm clamping diameter and is suitable for high-volume cutting.
Other Schunk products on display include the Vero-S quick-change pallet system, which clamps workpieces, pallets, clamping stations and tombstones using one or more clamping pins on a variety of machines. The Rota THWplus quick-jaw-change chuck is designed to change a complete jaw set in less than 60 sec. with a repeatability of less than 0.0005".
