A new line of Acme internal threading tools from Carmex features the company’s BLU sub-micron grade carbide with PVD triple coating. As part of the Carmex mini mill-thread line, the tools cover 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 Acme threads with shank sizes ranging from 1/4" to 5/8" and diameters from 0.170" to 0.625". They are said to improve surface finish and promote high performance, even in hard materials.
