EZ-CAM version 1.5 is said to provide productive and time-saving features. Larger toolbar icons improve clarity and overall ease of use, especially when used on modern systems with high-resolution displays. Solidworks and Parasolid translators provide compatibility with CAD modelers and ensure a clean transfer of geometry into the EZ-CAM system. Improved tool definitions include drill and spot tools with a tip angle parameter. A new corner round tool has also been added. The machining Work Step user interface has been modified to include a graphic help window which provides clear, immediate instructions and minimizes the need to refer to other more in-depth documentation.
