Schunk’s compact Tandem KSP+64 pneumatic self-centering vise features a one-piece, rigid base that can achieve gripping forces ranging to 4,500 N and a repeat accuracy of 0.01 mm. The stationary block’s 64-mm footprint enables as many as 16 units to be mounted in 1 square-foot. A variety of jaws, which can stroke 2 mm in 0.06 sec., increase flexibility and customization.The vise is available in 100-, 160- and 250-mm sizes.
